Do you need a fire protection system for your EDM sinker machines? We can provide the solution with our state-of-the-art fire protection system for EDM machines.

We can replace your existing dry chemical system, provide you with a new Wet Chemical cooking hood fire protection system, or re-work your existing Wet Chemical system to meet the U.L. 300 Standard. The UL 300 Standard addresses fire testing of cooking applications. The standard requires a more stringent fire test protocol for compliance in installing a UL Listed system. We offer comprehensive maintenance, inspection, and repair on previously installed lighting units and systems, as well as a wide variety of L.E.D. replacement bulbs. The average light fixture needs replacement bulbs an average of twice a year. These bulbs take up to 1/20^th of the watts of a regular fixture bulb, and are guaranteed to last a minimum of 15 years- saving your electric bill and money.

HIGH PRESSURE CYLINDER TESTING
As a D.O.T. certified test facility, we can provide both high and low pressure testing of your fire protection equipment including SCBA and SCUBA tanks. We also perform "specialized testing" of unusual cylinders and containers. Our D.O.T. certified high pressure test apparatus is capable of testing to 10,000 psi with 1% accuracy. This unit allows us to process over 50 cylinders per day.

VISUAL EDDY CURRENT TESTING

In conformance with the latest mandates from the leader in aluminum cylinder manufacturing- Luxfer, we now offer visual eddy testing. This process involves testing a cylinder for sustained load cracking on a level not visible to the human eye as well as a full visual inspection complying with the latest standards of D.O.T. and C.G.A. (Compressed Gas Association).

Periodically, all hand portable fire extinguishers require maintenance, inspection, and pressure testing. Whether mandated by OSHA, State/Federal Law, or the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT), this is a service that MUST be performed.

International Fire Equipment Corporation offers complete fire equipment training programs to assist you in complying with Federal Law (29 C.F.R. Section 1910.157g). Research shows that most businesses have a substantial investment in fire protection equipment, including fire extinguishers, but very few employees are properly trained in it’s use. As stated under the above referenced Federal law, "...where the employer has provided fire extinguishers for employee use in the workplace, the employer shall also provide education and familiarization programs regarding fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting".

Our training programs provide ALL the fire extinguishers, fuel, props, permits, and manpower necessary for a complete, professional training program specifically designed to fit your needs. All of this can be done right at your facility for a minimum of production/service interruption, and without impairment of your own fire protection equipment. The combination of classroom instruction, training films, and outdoor "hands on" use of fire extinguishers on actual fires, helps to provide the required training your employees need and are required to have. They will learn the meaning of PASS (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep) and, upon successful completion of their training, they are issued an impressive certificate of completion for their efforts.
